![]() ![]() Ask me how I know.Ĭlone units come with "cracked" version of VIDA 2010D or 2011A, typically, and with these, you don't have to sign on to Volvo's web site to make it work. However, biggest problem I've seen with units is getting the buyer to have the correct operating system, with the wrong one, you will NOT ever get VIDA working. Seen too many complaints about bad units and conclude there are some very poor quality units on the market. Imagine, Chinese clone sellers worried about the quality of some of these units!Īll the ones I've gotten worked, and I've checked them all on a Volvo DiCE test unit. My supplier said I could get a $20 price reduction on some made by another supplier, but they were VERY wary about the quality of these other units. I've bought a few of these DiCE units, and talked to my supplier about getting them at an even cheaper price. Maybe not exactly in that sequence, but you do all those functions. You subscribe, order software, pay for it, and download it. Apparently Volvo doesn't check the serial number of the DiCE unit (all clones seem to have same serial number) ![]() On Swedespeed, Inteller has answered the question about the clone units downloading software with a Volvo subscription. ![]()
